Completing the puzzle

It had been a long day at work, and I was feeling overwhelmed with life's issues. As I walked through the door of my apartment, I saw a brown cardboard box with on the floor with my name on it. I couldn't remember ordering anything, but my curiosity got the better of me. I picked up the box and opened it, revealing a 150-piece mini puzzle of a cute kid holding a teddy bear.

As I laid out the pieces on the table, I felt a sense of calm wash over me. The colors were soothing, and the pieces were a welcome distraction from my hectic day. I started working on the puzzle, determined to complete it by the end of the week.

The first day was slow, and I struggled to find the right pieces. My mind was still preoccupied with work, and I found myself staring at the same section of the puzzle for what felt like hours. But as the day progressed, I started to get the hang of it. The colors and patterns began to make sense, and I found myself lost in the puzzle. By the end of the day, I had completed a quarter of the puzzle.

The second day was better. I woke up early and started working on the puzzle with a fresh mind. As the pieces fell into place, I felt a sense of satisfaction. I was making progress, and the puzzle was starting to come together. I took breaks to make some tea and stretch my legs, but for the most part, I was fully focused on the puzzle. By the end of the day, I had completed half the puzzle.

On the third day, I was determined to finish the puzzle. I woke up early and started working on it. The pieces were coming together quickly, and I felt a sense of excitement as I neared the end. As I completed the last piece, I felt a wave of accomplishment. The puzzle was beautiful, and the kid holding the teddy bear was adorable. I spent the next hour admiring the puzzle, taking in every detail of the picture.

As I packed the puzzle and collected it, I felt a sense of peace. The puzzle had been a much-needed distraction from the stress of work and life issues. It forced me to slow down and focus on something simple yet rewarding. Completing the puzzle had given me a sense of accomplishment that I had been missing in my daily life. I knew that whenever I needed a break, I could pull out the puzzle and work on it again. It was a good memory that I would cherish forever.
